The backstory
Ryzosens started with a very practical problem.Ryzosens is an industrial IoT and automation platform that brings AI and IoT to industries that traditionally could not afford it.
But, how did we get here? How did a small prototype built in a garage turn into a suite of products used across agriculture, mining, healthcare, retail, and heavy industry?
It all started back in 2016 when a farmer approached Hayden with a challenge: was
there a way to remotely monitor and manage a tobacco curing tunnel?
Hayden figured there had to be something off-the-shelf that could handle it.
But after months of testing different systems and hitting dead ends, he was was intrigued
with the idea of building a system that could solve the problem at the right price point.
That curiosity turned into a full-on obsession. Over the next two years,
Hayden built a system from the ground up—something that could gather
data from the barn and then use that data to control devices regulating the tunnel's environment.
And then he turned that system into several products that worked beyond farming -
healthcare, water systems, manufacturing, mining, and beyond.
As the idea began to take shape, Brian joined the journey. With his background in
operations and scaling systems, he helped turn Hayden’s scrappy but powerful
prototype into a polished, reliable SCADA solution ready to be purchased and
shipped to work even in areas with limited 4G connectivity.
Together, they realized they weren’t just solving a single problem—they’d created a platform.
What started a small prototype lab built during the COVID lockdowns has since grown into a
suite of products tackling process control challenges across agriculture, mining,
healthcare, retail, and heavy industry. And it all began with one stubborn tunnel
and a shared belief that there had to be a better way.
And from that belief our mission was born: to make IoT and AI accessible and affordable to everyone, worldwide.
